in the 172 the 530 is the input for autopilot. Can the 430 drive the autopilot instead?

My real plane uses the Garmin 430 so I would like to use that exclusively to drive the nav 1 hsi. When I toggle the 530 between NAV and  VOR the nav 1 hsi reacts.  Can't connect the 430 to that nav 1.

There is probably a way to do it using Planemaker, but I have no idea how you would go about it.You might try doing a Google search for X-plane help groups planemaker.  Good luck!
