xplane 11 how to establish position by entering lat, long and elev? (typing in)

How can I set the xplane 11 simulator to create an in-flight start at a specific location and altitude by entering longitude, latitude and elevation as is possible in xplane 10 map view?  (not at an airport)  There's a particular hill I want to practice soaring over.

There is not a way to set a position by lat/long in X-Plane 11. The closest thing you could do is start at the nearest airport then drag the aircraft in the local map to the location you want.
