I have purchased the San Francisco airport KSFO.  It also has 6 other locations in the near area.

  • KSFO - San Francisco International Airport
  • KSJC - Mineta San Jose International Airport
  • KSQL - San Carlos Airport
  • KOAK - Metropolitan Oakland International
  • KPAO - Palo Alto Airport - General Aviation - 18 miles south of KSFO
  • KHAF - Half Moon Bay Airport - 10 miles west of KSFO
  • KHWD - Hayward Executive Airport - 8 miles south of KOAK
  • GG01 - Clipper Cove Located on Treasure Island

Since I downloaded the X-Plane 11 Global Beta Version, did I already have all of this?  There is a  San Francisco  KSFO to begin with but is there more to the custom side of things like more objects.  Or did I buy something I already actually have? I tried looking for this answer at the X.org store description but it doesn't seem to indicate one way or another.  Also ... LA International  is KLAX.  I typed that in and went to that location. But if I were to buy it at the .org store, would it be quite different/larger or more customized? I'm wondering if these were upgrades for XP10 and our Beta 11 version might already be equipped with all of these?

Thanks.

Marc

Well... I found my answer within the deep part of the instructions to install the San Francisco International airport.  It would seem that this is a extra custom package that adds much more to the original KSFO that is present. One main reason I couldn't see it was because I failed to install the plug-ins folder in my RESOURCES/PLUGINS folder that came with it. Duh...

;p)

Thanks , you all been helpful.

X-Plane will only ever include custom airports submitted through the Airport Scenery Gateway. If you find a scenery pack elsewhere, most likely it's different from the default scenery. Many third party scenery packs also require extra object libraries (or use plugins like the one you have) that the Gateway scenery never will require.

AHhhh ok. So the Airport Scenery Gateway is more of a matching program that will be a bit tighter of , or more compatible in a sense compared to a third party?

I saved the link to look at later.

Thanks
