My fast new PC is not able to run X-Plane 10 with ultra settings ?

So I have an i7 overclocked to 4.4Ghz running Win 10 64-bit, 16GB of fast RAM, An Nvidia GTX 980 graphics card with 4GB VRAM, extra cooling installed. AV software all set to silent mode and hardly any background processes. Fast HD with lots of space. Latest version of X-pplane 10 64-bit.  If I use the 'ultra' rendering preset I get 19FPS around busy metropolitan areas MAX with Carenado aircraft. What supercomputer is needed to run this smoothly at Ultra preset settings?!

One that is not built, yet ;-)

If you set all options to high, it will bring any computer to its knees. Some tips:

Easy on the shadows!

Easy on the Car traffic!

Easy on water reflection!

Easy on world rendering distance!

Supereasy on cloud puff setting!

These are the "killer" options that would make deep-blue smoke in frustration. Experiment a bit and you should get very good framerates...
