150kb/s Download?

Why is the download speed for XP11 so crazy slow?  I could walk to the server location, stick the game on a USB and walk back in the 64 hours it says it will take to download.  

Is this the only option?  Im pretty sure the Demo downloaded at non-1998 Dial-Up speed.

Im located in the UAE.

We use a CDN to provide our downloads, and they may not have good coverage in the area. I have heard from one other person that they also have slow downloads in UAE.

So what is the solution?  XP has a great opportunity right now to increase its market share globally as the old 32bit platforms are absolutely at their limit.  Id really have thought LR would have these kind of issues sorted so they can take on as many new customers as possible.
