Is X-Plane 11 a BATD that is usable for FAA instrument recency logging requirements.  Do you have a FAA LOA for the use of X-Plane 11 for FAA instrument recency currency.

You would have to purchase XP 11 professional and then have your entire system certified by a properly qualified FAA safety inspector from the nearest FSDO location.  You would have to buy hardware (yoke, throttles, rudder pedals that meet FAA standards).  After you met minimum requirements then your system would be tested for accuracy of operation. XP10 and XP 11 are great training resources but time can not be logged in you logbook.
