closed I have 0 planes after installing

I just purchased, downloaded, and installed X-Plane 11 with the product key I was sent after the purchase. The sim loads fine and I ran through the intro tutorial, which also allowed me to calibrate my flight sim yoke. However, when I select "New Flight" from the main menu, I can only set my airport, weather, and time of day. The Aircraft selection list is completely blank. Any advice?

Never mind, I closed and opened X-Plane and the planes appeared. Thanks!
