I purchased X 10 some time ago but needed the rudders and yoke to fly properly. took time to get the money to get them. Now I find that I don't have a key to open the program. I need a key. I understand that in some of your first programs you forgot to provide a key.

No, the CD#1 is your "key". Put it into the DVD drive when prompted (as it says on the screen), this will unlock the program.

X-Plane also asks you for a key, but only because recently (not some time ago, when you bought it), X-Plane is also sold with the option to have an unlock-code, since some people don´t have DVD drives on their computers anymore...

If all else fails, you should contact customer support at Laminar Research, be ready to provide proof-of-purchase.

Good luck, Jan

Well, inserting a DVD disc is a little bit annoying.

Hence the option to also purchase with an unlock key - but as I understand, you will not get an unlock key as well, if you have purchased the DVD some time ago. You´d have to buy another copy of X-Plane.

Copy protection is always annoying, but I totally understand the need for it.
