I have searched this site and the Knowledge Base of x-plane.org with no success getting detailed how-to assistance for x-plane 11. Since my Airmap 2000c is no longer supported by Lowrance, I would like to put it to flight sim use by incorporating it into the X Plane 11 experience. According to my Airmap 2000c manual, the unit has one NMEA comm port available to receive or transmit NMEA 0183 gps data. So, how do I configure X Plane 11 in the hardware setup screen, or does it require the Real GPS selection (which I guess is only available with the Pro version of X Plane 11 and intended for Garmin products)?
