I cannot load x-plane on Mac using DVD's

Question

I have tried loading X-plane 10 several times using the DVD's. I cannot get past Disc 1 - I get an 'input/output' error shown on the installer. I get the option to continue and repair the files later or cancel, but selecting continue seems to freeze the installing operation.

It sounds like there could be a problem with the DVD. This happens from time to time when they're made. Please contact customer service at [email protected].
