I have 8 discs with my new x-plane 10 Pro, but only needed to be 7 loaded on my mac, why?

I loaded x-plane 10 onto my mac, and it works fine.  But the loading process was completed with the 7th disc, although there are 8 in the set.  hHat is the 8th DVD for?  Thank you.

I believe all 8 discs are needed to install the complete world scenery. If you didn't need to use one of the discs, perhaps you chose not to install some scenery? I'm not sure what areas of the world are on which discs.
