Is the purchased Xplane 11 currently a non-beta version or is it all still in beta

Question

So it appears that X-plane 11 is still in Beta testing ...is this correct?

 

If yes what is the expected date of final full release?

Hi Controll12,

Just like you I am waiting on the official release of X-Plane 11. No doubt there will still be modifications which will be released as 11.1, 11.2 etc.

By the way, if you are one of those flight simmers wanting the Steam version, which is a modified version of the original X-Plane package by a third party, then all problems and possible release dates have to be addressed to that 3rd party.  Laminar Research will diplomatically advise accordingly as they have done to others in this forum.  The analogy is you buy a Ford and ask Toyota to carry out warranty work. They will decline.

You can buy X-Plane 11 Digital Download here (it is still beta). Because of the probability of encountering bugs in the beta, all purchases at this time also include access to the X-Plane 10 digital download.

There is a release date set to 30 Mar, 2017 on Steam.
