My EAA Chapter has an original GAT-1 Link Trainer that we are working to make operational. Once we accomplish that we want to see if we can get XP to make the Link pitch roll and yaw. Is that possible? Has anyone done this?

If we accomplish THAT, then we want to install three monitors for scenery and two iPad in the cockpit for an instrument panel and EFIS-APP. This would seem to be the "easier " part of this project as the how-to is probably in the User Guide.

What kind of computer system would we need to do this?

I realize this is an off the wall question, and the likelihood of anyone having experience with a Link is very limited, but ya never know. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

For the second part of the question, i am not sure if it is exactly what you are looking for, but I have this at home and I run it with no hit on the fps with one single computer :

Thank you for your references. That is in the ball park of what we/I'd like to do with our Link. If it happens, I'm sure you'll read about it here.
