how can I make the xplane image larger or smaller on my mac monitor?

when I start xplane 11 up it fills the left side of my monitor....I can't figure out how to make it full frame. Also when I go into the area to program my yoke, etc, a part of the left side of the screen is cut off and I can't move the whole thing to the right in order to see it......i have gone into my mac system prefs and tried adjusting the display settings and nothing helped this issue by rescaling.....

1.  Make sure in graphics setting you are "full screen"

2.  Try various MAC monitor resolutions.   Some will match the X-Plane resolution so it displays full screen and some will not
