How do I load a situation

Question

Trying to use Scenario Based Training w/X-Plane where you load various situations from www.wiley.com/go/flightsimulatortraining and download them in .zip files to be loaded into X-Plane in a folder known as X-Plane Situations. cannot locate such a folder.

I cannot help with the third party resources, but the default situations you can save directly from X-Plane are placed in the Output folder > Situations folder. Perhaps the Wiley files go there as well? (Especially if they end in .sit)

These files do end in .sit BUT how do I find the Output folder>Situations Folder in X-Plane 11

It's in the main X-Plane folder, which should be on your desktop if you use LR's proprietary installer. 

If you use Steam:

• Start STEAM. Goto LIBRARY.
• Right click on your X-Plane 11.
• Choose Properties.
• In the rising window choose LOCAL FILES.
• And than choose BROWSE LOCAL FILES.
• Now you are in the X-Plane 11 Main (Root) Folder and you see the path in your file explorer.
