keyboard and mouse not working 9.7

Question

Upgraded to 9.7 and unable to throttle up using keyboard or mouse. also the square has dissapeared to allow me to use the mouse control to fly. if i power up with mouse or keyboard the throttle goes back to nothing?

Do you have any joysticks or game controllers plugged in? They could be overriding mouse flight. Otherwise try moving, renaming or deleting the preferences folder. (I'm not as familiar with X-Plane 9--in newer versions preferences are located in the Output folder.)
