Water textures

Question

I was flying into male one day the (Maldives intl airport) and the water textures are just really dark navy blue, could one of the developers please fix this, like have some corral reefs and turquoise waters

I don't know about Laminar Research plan to implement that because I'm not part of the team.

In the meanwhile, you can get a very nice result with Ortho4XP, made by Oscar Pilote.
It is available on his dropbox (link in his signature if you see one of his posts on x-plane.org.

There are many tutorials on youtube too. To make it short, you can bring photosatellite textures plus a very nice coastline effect into X-plane.
