Newbie question... for Boeing 747-400 / 747-100, do you have any guides for how to use all the controls, and the checklists?  I'm not sure how to go about learning how to use them and wanted to ask before buying x-plane 11.  Thank you

I don't know if and where Laminar Research provides that, but you should be able to find checklists on X-plane.org.
You can also find several tutorials on youtube. Here is the link to one of them I just found :
