I bought X-Plane 11, started download, it was unable to download past the gear model for the 747-400. Is this normal?

Every time I try to relaunch the installer, it gets to the Authentication server step, and seems to 'timeout' every time. Should I download the beta first then unlock the full version with my key? Cause I was able to download the beta.

UPDATE: It seems that even the demo server times out. Quite unsure of what to do at this point other than wait.

If there are still issues, upload a copy of the installer log.txt from the desktop. If you were able to download the Demo, you should be able to add scenery to it and make it a full simulator.
