Spec:

Gaming PC HP 8300 Elite Quad Core i5-3470, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, WiFi, Windows 10 64Bit Desktop PC Computer With Antivirus (Certified Refurbished)

The graphics card ok? As recommended says GTX 1070

If you buy a new computer now, yes. Prefer a 1070 to a 1050 :

Could always just upgrade GPU to 1070 rather than whole new system. Also those are recommended specs not minimum if i read correctly. So it should run okay on current specs.

Your spec meets Minimum Hardware Requirements. You can try the demo. The full version of the simulator will perform exactly the same as the demo—neither better nor worse. You can also read more about X-Plane 11 System Requirements here.
