I'm trying to get X-Plane 11 Demo before buying it, so I downloaded the installer then run it with default and no-default installation folder (1st at C:\...\users\...\desktop) (2nd at F:\X-Plane 11). I de-activated my spyware program. Everything seems ok during installation process but then:

Either installations show the same warning.

Here are the X-Plane Installer.log and the printscreen warning message.
What I'm not doing right?
Tks for help.

I tried both ways:

first I used default installation (to my desktop) and X-Plane 11 was created. Within the folder I tried to run x-plane 11.exe -> didn't run and was given that message

second I installed it in another drive (my F:/). I tried to run it from inside this F:/X-Plane 11/x-plane 11.exe with the same result and same message. I then sent a shortcut from this installation folder to my desktop and it didn't run too, same result, same message.

tks for answering

Hi cirurgiao

Have you tried opening the folder where you installed X-Plane 11 to and running the executable file straight from there ('x-plane.exe' for Windows)? It sound likes rather than creating a shortcut, you've possibly made a copy of this .exe file and you're attempting to run it from outside the X-Plane folder.
