I have used x-plane 10 for about a year now with no problems but after not using it for about a month I was receiving an error reading "udp_socket_read_udp_init failed

This is almost certainly because you are running another copy of x-plane or EFIS-app on the SAME computer... Oops!

(inet.cpp:1138)"

I restarted my computer to clear any running applications and it still gave me the same error, I the completely uninstalled and deleted all x-plane files, and re installed the game, and can now access x32 bit, but when I open x64 but I still get the same error. Is there anything I can do to access this, as I would like to be able to make the most of my RAM?

Please make sure X-Plane is installed to the desktop. Have you tried running the latest installer to check for any files that need to be fixed? If that still doesn't help, you could try making a copy of your install then updating one of them to the latest beta by following these instructions.
