Is the fms on the 738 in the X-Plane 10 mobile app actually able to input text?

Every time I try to input any for of text using the keypad on the 737-800 fms it doesn’t input any text into the scratch pad area neither will it transfer to the selected spot. Navigation through the pages works fine, however it’s impossible to use it if you can’t input any text.
