PC features to make x-plane11 work properly

Hi, I have bought X-plane 11 with the Yoke System and the minimun system requirements is to have a PC with i3 or i5 or i7 with 8Gb RAM and 3GHz cpu, in fact in my PC that is Intel Core i5  1.8GHz it doesn't work.

Is it a must to have a 3Ghz PC or not? There are some PC with turbo at 3Ghz, is it the same? Is very much expensive to buy a 3GHz pc just to make x-plane 11 work properly.

I think the minimum specs in the manual are a bit outdated. I'd suggest a four-core CPU with at least 2.8GHz, at least 8GB RAM (the faster, the better), and, most important, a modern graphics card (like >=2GB VRAM).
