liveries not installing

Question

while while trying to install liveries it when back to the default liveries every time I loaded it (the new livery )

think its because its different types of files one just a part of the body and the new has the whole (see pics) 

if anyone knows how to fix this help would be greatly appreciated

Did you flatten the image and export it as a PNG? That is what XPlane is expecting for a livery file.

yes  didn't  make the livery but downloaded it
