Baron GPS in X-plane 10 does nothing

Question

I recently downloaded X-plane 10 for my iPad and then purchased the Baron. The GPS is on, but none of the buttons do anything. As a result, I cannot program a flight plan nor an approach. The same functions on the default 172 work flawlessly so it appears to be the Baron download. Ideas?

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

As the troublesome product is a third party purchase you should take your problem to the supplier or developer of the Baron.

This forum is for solving problems directly associated with X-Plane.

Actually, the Baron was included with the app as an in-app purchase and I see no indication that it is by a third party.
