how do you download plugins through steam

I know how to download the plugins, but when I try to put them in the xplane file there is none because I got xplane through steam

Hi simonigel,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

This forum is for the official X-Plane software from Laminar Research.  You need to take your problem(s) to a steam forum and not this one.

The steam version is a different product altogether.  It has been developed by a 3rd party taking a commercial advantage of the development work by Laminar Research.  You cannot mix X-plane by Laminar Research and the steam version.  You will corrupt your files.
