Demo install fails

Hello,

I have downloaded the demo install and after launching the exe , it fails with a windows message

X-demo 10 installer.exe has stopped working "  check online ....

Any ideas if I have an incompatible system ?

Did you check to make sure your computer meets at least the minimum requirements to run X-Plane 10? You might try downloading it again from here just to make sure the download wasn't corrupted. Does the program start enough to give you a X-Plane Installer log.txt file on the desktop? If so, please attach it to a comment.
