Update to 11.20 always crashes and has damadged my 11.11 install

Question

I was running 11.11

I started the update to 11.20 today, and it failed once. I restarted and it crashes.

Now it even does not want to start, claiming for an unauthorization access issue while I have already restore full authorization for all users)

I don't use VR

Have you finished the update yet? My laptop did the exact thing and once the update got finished, XPlane ran finely. The update for me took around 1.5 hours, but it stopped the crashing. Hope this helps!
