Hi loulasalle,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

You need to have a look at the minimum system requirements and the recommended system requirements.  The serious x-plane flight simmers usually go for specifications equal to or better than the recommended system requirements.

The requirements can be found at http://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-system-requirements/

Personally I don't think your system meets the minimum requirements, other than your RAM, and that also depends on the speed as well.

X-Plane is a 64 bit product that is capable of using up to 64Gb of RAM whereas FSX is a 32 bit product and only capable of utilising 4Gb of RAM irrespective of how much RAM you have.

X-Plane is resource hungry so you will need  a fast processor and good memory in your graphics card.

I don't know what bootcamp is and will not be needed for X-Plane.

Cheers and good luck.

Glenn
