I've just updated X-Plane to 11.21r2.  The programme asks for my product key, which is auto-populated, but it won't let me press the button to use the key.  The only active button is 'I don't have a Product Key'.  Is this a bug or has X-Plane invalidated my key?  I've wiped the auto-populated number and re-entered the key from my original purchase email but that doesn't work either.  Can anyone help?

Does anyone have any idea how long a key reset takes?   (And also, why would the key disable in the first place - same computer as install, same location).   Super frustrating as I rarely have a window of time to use it and there doesn't seem to be a way to get a fix quickly.

Have you accepted the new terms for GDPR? That was added for 11.21 and blocks progressing if you don't accept it. Right now, using the installer resets this as well so you have to accept it again when you start X-Plane after that.

I believe if the key has been deactivated for any reason it would tell you after the next step, which is contacting the authentication server. If you think it is locked, you can email [email protected] for help unlocking it.

Thanks for that.  The GDPR tick box was on my monitor, and didn't show up in the VR headset.  Lesson learnt.  Thanks again.
