VR black box

To explain the above image, the top fifth of the mirror image displayed on the monitor while in VR is moving with the head motion.  The bottom 4/5ths are black.  Inside the headset, what I see is three "quadrants" correctly displaying, while the bottom left quadrant is black.  

Specs are 1080Ti, i7 7700k, 16 GB DDR4.   

VR works in all other games. Just not XP11.

There is a warning on screen in the image about Lua not working. I'd recommend removing all addons & resetting to default preferences to see if that helps.
