xLUA crashes

Question

I am completely new to X-Plane - switched over from FSX, so I have no idea what is going on here. Recently Windows just performed an update and don't know if this is the cause of the issue. But when I start up a flight, during the loading screen, all of a sudden X-Plane just crashes. When I removed the XLua folder from the Boeing 747 folder, I was able to load the flight - however nothing in the cockpit was selectable (so, I couldn't start APU, battery, engines, anything...) It shows the arrows and what have you, but nothing...So, what is XLua? I don't remember installing it - I don't know if it needs upgraded. Don't know anything - so any and all help is greatly appreciated! (Again, please remember I am new to X-Plane and folder layout and structure...)

Xlua is a plugin that comes with many of the default aircraft and is used to manipulate many of the controls in the cockpits. If the automatic crash report form comes up, be sure to fill it out & send it in. Otherwise, I would recommend updating to 11.25 which is out now, and seeing if that helps.
