X-Plane 10 MCP Knobs and Switches not working on 747-400

I just downloaded X-Plane 10 on my MacBook Pro. All the knobs and switches work on the Cessna 172, but not for Mode Control Panel on the 747-400. I am not using any equipment with it like a yoke or rudder pedals either.
