2nd monitor for instruments using a touchscreen?

Question

So I wanna use a second monitor that only shows instruments, like the G1000 on a Cessna 172. But I also would like to use a touchscreen monitor. That way I could just touch the screen to change settings on the G1000s.

I am not with Laminar Research or any other referenced sites; just a flight simmer.

It can be done.  Have a look at the following sites and trawl through the respective videos to find reference to linking a 24 inch touch screen with your main out of cockpit view screen.  Both links also make reference to additional software that can be used for the instruments.
