Frame rate running low

Question

Hi,

Totally new to this. Bought a system that I thought would run X Plane 11. Specs as follows:

Operating System Win 10 Home 64 bit

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600

RAM 16 GB

Graphics Radeon RX 580 8 GB

Motherboard MSI B350M MORTAR

I am currently using the Demo version of X PLANE 11. I have tried settings between medium and max but I am unable to exceed a frame rate of 16 fps. on the low end I'm getting 8 fps.

Please help.
