I use xplane 11 in a MacBook Pro Retina (from late 2013);

Processor 2.8GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB

This should be enough to flight with no problem, and that is not my case.

The frame rate is always lower than 10 using common airplanes, and even lower if FF Boeing 757-200 v2 is used. I bought the license for that one and could not use it due to fps problems.

Could you help me please?

Thanks in advance

Hi itsaslaino

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but from looking at your quoted MacBook specification above, I have narrowed your CPU down to a 4th Generation Intel Core i7 2.8GHz processor, code name Haswell.

This CPU has 2 cores and an integrated graphics processor Iris Graphics 5100 with 2GB of VRAM, which apparently supports DirectX 11.2/12.

These components as you say are circa 2013, but are in alignment with LR's minimum hardware requirements.

However, LR does also state that "Dual (2)-core CPUs slower than 3 GHz should 'try the demo' before purchasing", which leads me to believe that a PC of this spec has an extremely borderline capability.
