X-plane hangs after update today

Question

I have 2 versions on same PC (11.26 and 11.30 beta ?). both seem to update OK, although 11.30 took very long to check the files and then very quickly updated with a very small file (10 MB ?).

Starting up after update, both versions hang. (black screen with little circle)

Later message: no response from X-plane.

I bought X-plane at FS-Pilot (order #952589) and I have the productcode.
