I have a quick question on the elvation. Is it possible to have floating point values for the elevation?

and how can I change it from integer to float?

Thank you very much!

Hi Miguel,

By default, elevation in X-Plane uses floating point values.

ETA: The apt.dat files we export use integers, but the elevation there is mostly for reference---the actual elevation of the airport should be determined by the scenery beneath it

My problem is, when I change the elevation of the PATCHs to a decimal value in the TXT-file (by converting the DSF-file to a TXT-file using DSFTOOL) and I convert it back to a DSF-file, the elevation is not decimal anymore.

Question: How can I integrate decimal elevation values to a DSF-file?
