Starnge sun visualization

i have a problem with the sun...any help?? Tnks in advance (Asus Z170 Pro Gaming - I76700K - 16GB Ram 3200 - RTX 2070)

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but could you please upload to this post, a screen shot of your X-Plane 11 graphics settings page, so that it can be reviewed by the forum? See photo below.

Also, can you confirm that you have the latest Nvidia drivers installed for the RTX2070 graphics card?

Thanks for the screenshot above, I would try bringing the antialiasing up to the highest quality and if this affect fps (frames per second), bring the Visual Effects and Texture Quality down to where mine is shown.

I just finished a flight in Australia where it is shining brightly and I seem to have the same issue as you, with rings radiating away from the sun!
