Hello all, I am new to X-Plane, using version 10.51 with a phenom 100 and garmin G1000 avionics suite. I paid for the Phenom aircraft files and I contacted X-Plane tech support and they sent me the link to download the G1000 database.

I put the Ceranado file into the root directory of x-plane 10 as instructed to to use the G1000

when I run the x-plane app the Phenom cockpit shows up but the radios are completely blank, like they are getting no power. Nothing I do seems to make a difference. I just can't turn them on.

Getting the radios to work is problem #1.

Problem #2 is that when I hover over rotary selectors, I get both a + and - rotational arrows, I can't figure out how to make the rotary selectors move. This is unlike using other aircraft where if I am on one side of a knob I'll get a clockwise arrow and a counter-clockwise arrow on the other side of the knob.  How do I get these knobs to turn?

Problem #1 is much more serious, I'll need to get the Primary and Multi-function displays working.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

 - Bill

Hi Bill

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK, but sorry to say that I also purchased the Carenado Phenom 100 for my X-Plane 11 and putting it politely, I'm very disappointed with it :-(

Whilst the PFD/MFD are both seemingly switched on, I can't get many of the rotary controls or switches to function properly and I'm therefore finding the aircraft almost impossible to use!

To make matters worse, it appears that this aircraft does not support SIDS, STARS or ILS approach procedures in X-Plane 11 either :-(

I have therefore given this aircraft up as a complete loss and waste of money, something other simmers have also been experiencing.
