Graphics card suggestion?

I'm a new X-Plane 11 user, I wish to upgrade my graphics card, but want to ensure I'm getting the right one.

My current graphics card is a NVIDIA GTX 745 with 4 GB DDR3 memory. I wish to upgrade to an 8GB card. My PC is an HP ENVY Desktop 750-229, with an Odense motherboard. Any suggestions? I don't want top of line, just an 8GB card, compatible with my HP PC with Odense motherboard, and suitable for multiple screens.

Thanks Glenn. That’s an interesting YouTube video . Based on that video, and other online research, It appears that my way ahead is a GTX 1660.

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

Have a look at the following link found at https://www.youtube.com/user/col2mab/videos where Michael Brown has done a lot of work in recent times regarding the use and comparison of graphics cards.  Michael owns a business in the USA that builds PCs predominantly for X-Plane.  Laminar Research recommends this business as the only supplier of X-Plane suitable PCs in the USA.

What you purchase will depend on your budget.
