SCENERY NOT LOADING (VANILLA) no pluggins or mods just shows water

Please help me. I just got the simulator, everything is vanilla, when I start the simulator it loads only a few miles around me and on the map its the same thing rest of everything is WATER. and When I bought the game I downloaded online and selected download USA & MEXICO scenery. But it doesn't work now. I tried getting the DataRefEditor and going to art settings and changing reno water to 0 from 1, and it still doe'st work.

Hi Ruvim,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

Are you still in demo mode and not applied your product code as yet.  Demo mode limits you to a set location and has a lot of water showing.

Have you deactivated your antivirus software?  Are you running in Administrator mode,  If not to either question make the change and try again.

Be more specific on what your system is ie graphics card, cpu, storage system operating system etc.  Otherwise you will basically get no reponse at all.

So that others with a better knowledge base than me can try and determine your problem you need to attach your log.txt file as it supplies a lot of information.  This file is automatically generated when you shut down or your system has a crash.

Sounds like you need to install some world scenery...

In the Xplane11 root, run the Installer.exe and select add or remove scenery. Add Continents or the entire globe......Best to do this overnight.

No i'm not in Demo mode. I have a key and I used it to activate the simulator.

Yes I tried deactivating Malwarebytes that is what I use for my iMac. Still doesn't work
