I recently tried using shadow (and also parsec) to see if it improved my X Plane 11 experience on my underpowered laptop. I was able to get decent frame rates (in the 30's and higher), but I am experiencing a lot of lag in throttle responses. I have been doing this on a Cessna 172 SP (steam gauge). Basically I throw open the throttle and I only have a slow build up in the sim. This is not just that threes a lag in the tachometer, it is that the throttle shown in the 3d cockpit I only moving very slowly. This is odd since when I got to the joystick configuration the sim immediately sees the change in controls. Any idea why the sim would be slow to see these changes?
