I have been looking through the internet to find a solution to this. Short of uninstalling and reinstalling i have tried just about everything.  Since i first used the demo, then purchased the game, i have never had sound.  I keep getting the same error.  I've updated drivers for audio device as well.

Hi there

I'm not with Laminar Research, just a fellow simmer in the UK and I'm really sorry if this seems like a silly question, but presumably you have ticked the "Enable sounds" checkbox in X-Plane 11 sounds settings page?
