Hy,

For a few days, my favorite airplane beech craft Baron 58 works very badly. When I want to use the automatic AP pilot, I am no longer able to activate the approach. I click on the button 10 of my CH control quadrant but nothing activates.
In addition, buttons 7 and 8 cannot be edited correctly. For example if I want to use the button 8, I see appearing in a window at the top of the screen, another  thing that i d'ont ask for .
Can someone help me solve this problem?

Hi Jacomo,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from downunder.

How have you configured all of your hardware, including your CH controller?  Your comments suggest to me you have not configured your controller correctly.

X-Plane is unlike any other flight sim product or shoot-em-up games whereby you configure through your operating system or use the software provided with the product. The hardware has to be configured through X-PLane.  No other way.

You need to start afresh by totally deleting all software supplied with the hardware from your PC and store the software in some place you can forget about it.  If it was saitek (Logitech) I would suggest digging a hole and bury it in the back yard.

Before you start have a look at the following link found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU_TuALAlJk  from Michael Brown at XForcePC in the USA.  Michael operates a business in the USA building PCs predominantly for X-Plane.  Laminar Research recommends this business as the only supplier of PCs in the USA suitable for X-Plane.

Watch the video several times to grasp the message.  Disregard the product name.  If the process is folllowed then your problem(s) should be fixed/solved.

Good luck.

Hello,

Don't think you understood my question; I don't have any problems, I am using X-Plane's configuration menu, I do not need troubleshooting.

I am simply asking if its possible to make a modifier key so if I press (button+modifier) then a different input is recognized instead of just button
eg x=x

but x+y=z
