Hi ! I just bought the game one week ago, and i could play with (run with all airports... which is not possible in Xplane11 demo version), but today, the game say "unlock complete version to continue" or something like that when i open th game. This is the same message than when you have demo version, and i don't know what to do

Hi Zeyrochoc,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

X-Plane is not a game but a real life flight simulation package?

What exactly did you purchase and where or who  did you purchase the flight sim package from?    From what I know about X-Plane your opening sentence has conflicting information of how X-Plane works.

In relation to the official and original x-plane demo version you need to enter the 24 figure product key supplied when you officially purchased X-Plane.  When applied, after prompting, the demo version will run.  You also need to be aware that when you run the digital download version after unlocking, you have to be connected to the internet at all times as the software performs a silent background check to determine you have a legal copy  The software will shut down and give you the message currently being received until you apply the product key again.

If you have been connected to the internet then from what you have described suggests to me you may have purchased a pirate copy or a "dud" copy that crashes after a single use.

Thanks for reply I bought my game on g2a, i already gave my key to the xplane11, it was working (i could use all airports and play more than 15 minutes like in demo version), but yesterday, it ask me to unlock complete game, like if i had demo one, but i just bought it one week ago as i said you. My game was totally installed, so i dont know why it ask me to enter a new code

Hi Zeyrochoc,

When the digital version of X-Plane runs, when you are connected to the internet, the software performs a silent background check while you run X-Plane on the legality of the software.  If a discrepancy is found whereby more than one copy of X-Plane is running the software is blocked from running again.  Read the last sentence/paragraph of my initial response to you.  When you do, disregard the word "may".  Others in this forum have had the same problem as you are experiencing with this reseller.  I am aware of one person getting a refund.  You are probably the 4th person I am aware of being caught.

Good luck in getting a refund.  When you do get the refund purchase the genuine product from Laminar Research.

My comment is based on what others have experienced with this business when purchasing x-plane.

When you go back into the forum there is a green box in the top right corner with a magnifying glass just to the right.  In the box type "g2a" and then hit the magnifying glass.  You should be confronted with 2 pages of comments about g2a and x-plane.  Read all of the Comments/questions.  When you do read the comments you will find a comment by a Laminar Research tech officer (Thomson) advising not to purchase from your preferred supplier.  If that isn't enough to convince you then so be it.   I thought there was only 4 with your problem but there are a lot more.

Obviously you know best and if you are still not convinced then good luck in solving your problem as I cannot offer any other solution.

Zeyrochoc you got a new key from Laminar Research or from the G2A seller? This is second time my key bought from the same G2A seller has gotten deactivated... His G2A account name is Eche87685.

Anyone knows if the seller can refund the keys just like that? Maybe He just refunds all of His sold keys after some time, and hopes most of the buyers don't play the game anymore, don't notice that their key got deactivated, and gets the money back without having to give it back to the buyer (is this possible)?

Hi Zeyrochoc,

You were extremely lucky to get a genuine replacement product key from Laminar as comments from Laminar is don't purchase from that site.  Irrespective of what other products you have purchased or intend to purchase from G2A have a look at the current comment from Peki7 and read the references I have quoted on others caught like you.  The bottom line is you were originally sold a pirate copy.

Yes by G2A, i've send a message to expain my problem to Xplane11 company (i think its laminar) and they just send me a key, with any question

I also contacted Laminar, they just told that my key was either returned for cash by the original purchaser or it was purchased using a stolen credit card, and gave me a link where to buy a legit copy of a X-Plane.

Guess I didn't get as lucky and get a key from Laminar :(
