At the moment parallel projection is still required for VR.  This wastes valuable resources needed in VR.  

When will Laminar update X-Plane for VR to work without parallel projection?

P.S.  I wonder if anyone from Laminar will ever read and respond to this.  ;-)

Thanks to bring in this subject. I intend to buy the Valve Index headset, and it's lcd panels are canted at 5 degrees. It's a comment (probably from you?) on the dev's blog that made me aware of the problem.

Maybe the best way would be to file a bug, so they keep track of the issue.
