I recently purchased the T-6 Texan II on Xplane and tried loading into the software. When I load the menu, the aircraft appears but when I try to start a new flight with it, an error message pops up saying that an airfoil file is old or corrupted and that it needs to be updated if I want to fly. I don't understand why I'm getting this error message considering that I downloaded this plane from Xplane yesterday... what should I do to resolve this problem?

Hi Andrea,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer from downunder.

Unfortunately you are in the wrong forum.

The forum you are currently posting a problem is hosted by Laminar Research the X-Plane developer's site linked with X-Plane.com,  Laminar does not sell 3rd party aircraft.  The only aircraft they make available is part of the X-Plane software package.

The site you are possibly referring to is X-Plane.org which has no connection to Laminar Research. It is a site created for the benefit of X-Plane users. You need to raise your problem directly with that business or raise your concern in their forum (quite extensive).  Alternatively with the developer of the aircraft.

Good luck

Glenn
