How to remember ATC's instructions.

I have fun using ATC but there is one problem.  Unfortunately I can't remember what taxi ways ground control tells me to take.  They speak so fast and I have to cheat and turn on the ATC arrows so I know where to go.  How to pilots in the real world to this?

So im a Pilot for Delta on their A350. Usually we have the airport charts which include the Airport layout with taxi ways.

But you can always ask for clarification, or a repeat in the real world. Not really sure about X plane.
